Denervation is one of the most common dental procedures. Denervation can save your natural teeth and prevent the need for dental implants or bridges.

At the center of your tooth is the pulp. Infection or damage to the pulp can be caused by many causes such as trauma, deep caries, fissures, etc. Symptoms of infection can be recognized as visible damage or swelling of the area near the offending tooth, fistula in more chronic conditions, as well as sensitivity in temperature or toothache.

During the denervation process, the injured pulp is removed and the root canal system is cleaned and sealed. Denervation is performed under local anesthesia and can be completed in one or more visits.
